Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 34.5 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of CADM3-His is approximately 35-55 kDa due to glycosylation.

Background	The protein encoded by this gene is a calcium-independent cell-cell adhesion protein that can form homodimers or heterodimers with other nectin proteins.
