Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 85.4 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of His-HSP90AA1 is approximately 100-130 kDa due to glycosylation.
Purity	The purity of the protein is greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.

Background	The protein encoded by this gene is an inducible molecular chaperone that functions as a homodimer. The encoded protein aids in the proper folding of specific target proteins by use of an ATPase activity that is modulated by co-chaperones.
